Promoting MyInternetBusiness, or any business, is something you must learn to be successful online or off. Without great marketing your site will be just another lifeless page in a desert of dead websites. You MUST promote and market your site constantly to make money online.
One of the best ways to promote your site is through blogging. Blogging and pinging are proven methods of attracting the Search Engines and of course, visitors. Blogging has evolved over the years and is making a resurgance after a downturn for awhile. Today bloggers use blogging and pinging in combination with a number of other promotional methods to get the most benefit.
I just came across a great contest involving two well known online entrepreneurs - John Cow and Garry Conn. Their ‘Cowpetition‘ involves them building blogs from scratch and selling them on SitePoint a month later. The winner is the guy who has built the best blog and sold it for the most money in a month. They also give out great prizes to anyone signing up to receive their contest updates. This is a great way to learn how to blog properly to attract tons of visitors to your site.

Online businesses and affiliate programs are now fairly easy to join and market. Unfortunately most people will setup a website but never follow it through to a big payday. People setup a website, throw up a few banners and then whine about their lack of results.
Running a successful business is easier for very high traffic sites. They have a lot of visitors daily and some of those visitors will buy the products. For everyone else it’s a bit harder to succeed. We have to use other methods to get visitors and sales. That’s where most online businesses fail - they don’t seriously market and get the sales they need for success.
An easy way to get traffic is to use PPC ads like those on Google Adwords. You can get traffic to your site in under ten minutes. Making sales to those visitors may be bit more difficult though. Your Adwords expenses may be more than your net profits, or the visitors will not buy if they are not properly targeted. Perhaps another site offered nicer bonuses or more help than you offered - there can be a variety of reasons for not making sales.
Writing articles is a very successful way to bring visitor to your site. It can be a free method of promotion, if you don’t put a value on the time you spend writing. Your articles attract visitors for a long time and are well worth the time spent writing them. Draw up a schedule for writing articles and carry it through. Even if every article only brings in 5 or 10 visitors a day, after several months and many articles, you could easily have 200 or more free visitors every single day.
You could out-source your article writing if you wanted. If you’re short of time, inclination or talent to produce numerous good articles, you can hire another writer to do it for you. The article quality may not be as good as yours, but the quantity produced will easily overcome that hurdle. Do a quick proof read and edit the articles if needed. This will allow you to create many new articles that you can call your own in a short time.
Another almost new promotion method is using Web 2.0 sites for promotion and marketing. You can build large networks of interlinked websites hosted by someone else for free. Is that brilliant or what? You have no hosting costs - you create the content and make the sales. That’s a great way to leverage the power of the Internet to your own advantage and your own profit.
It seems like there’s a new Work From Home Opportunity launching every week now. I’ve seen some priced as low as five dollars, and others going for many thousands of dollars. No one can complain of a lack of variety, but unfortunately, the quality and overall value of some of these business opportunities is definitely lacking.
Today the number of new Internet users is growing constantly, so there is always a new pool of people looking for a Work At Home program. I’ll bet a large percentage of adult Internet users would love to be able to stay at home and make a living working on their computer. With such a large pool of potential users, selling Home Business programs will always be a lucrative business .
Passport To Wealth CEO Darren Gaudry has just opened the doors of his most advanced Home Based Business to the public. MyInternetBusiness.com is a radical new Home Business program that is being deployed in a number of phases stretched out over several years. MyInternetBusiness, a huge Home Business system, is hoping to take a dominant position in this exponentially growing industry.
MyInternetBusiness.com is not an entirely new concept as it borrows ideas from Passport To Wealth and several other high profile programs. Darren Gaudry has taken the best parts of these different Home Business programs and molded them into a new business system that is setting extremely high expectations. With the number and variety of modules the MyInternetBusiness Program uses, the company would appear to be a very serious long-term competitor in the high-ticket sector.
A major factor when evaluating which Home Based Business program to join, should be the long-term outlook of the program. These programs usually have a life of one or two years before they wither away and die. After the launch some of the Home Business programs will produce a nice income for a percentage of their members. But, after a year or two the momentum of the business will die and the program will no longer be cost effective. The challenge for any Work From Home program is to be able to keep the business making money for it’s members for many years.
In order to stay on top, a Work From Home program must be innovative and willing to borrow good ideas from other businesses. The program should also be a living, growing entity, that adds new pieces to the main program as needed. A fixed, never-changing Home Business is bound to come to the end of it’s life cycle within a short time. Without growth and innovation, these stagnant businesses are soon swept aside in the rush of new program launches.
Darren Gaudry and MyInternetBusiness.com seem to understand this problem, and have looked for a way to avoid a similar fate. The MyInternetBusiness business is starting off with the standard program core to get it’s members up and running in a hurry. Then, over the course of months and even years, new modules will be added to the core program. Using this technique they believe the program will stay fresh and innovative, and continue to dominate it’s competitors for many years.
For program members this is a good thing of course, as the members can continue promoting and selling a Home Based Business Opportunity that they can be proud of. And that’s what it all boils down to - can the members make money with the program? With a great program that dominates the industry, program members will enthusiastically continue promoting, selling and raking in the money.
I have added over fifty sites so far, but this is not quite normal. What I’m doing is converting old sites from other businesses, and using them for this program. There’s no use wasting valuable older sites. It doesn’t take long to add a post and some links to wake up an old site.
Pointing lots of sites at your money site is a good thing of course, so I’ll be adding more over time. I still have another 20 or 30 sites to add tomorrow, and then more again as I build new Web 2.0 sites. What you can see developing is a very long list of sites and RSS feeds. It’s a lot of work but to achieve our goals will take lots of work. Besides once these are setup and running, they last for a long time.
I am setting up this blog to show my Team members how I am able to successfully promote MyInternetBusiness.com. I’ll be adding links to all the sites and Feed Aggregators I use for maximum effect.
Using the power of many sites I am able to increase the authority and ranking of any site I choose. With regular RSS submission, I can dramatically increase this effect. Most of these sites are free to use (except for my own domains), and can be exploited by anyone wanting to do more promotion and help their website SEO efforts.
This will be an ongoing work as I will be adding extra pieces to the puzzle over time. If I find some new method that works well - I’ll add it in to the system. It will take me a week or so to add most of the information here, and then I’ll just maintain it and update it if I find a new method to add. I’ll also let you know how my site ranking and traffic numbers are doing.
